First visit to Valandy's fish and chips cafe in Scunthorpe town centre. I had scampi and chips with mushy peas and a mocha to wash it down with, the food was good sized portion, well cooked and delicious, best I've had in Scunthorpe in a very long time!. The service was great, staff friendly and helpful and good atmosphere. A big surprise was, it is dog friendly. I advise those that haven't eaten here before, definitely go try it out if you haven't already. I'd be surprised if you're disappointed 🙂. I will be returning in the very near future 😉. Ps: Only thing I would improve, is the menu and maybe look at a way of connecting are furry friends to the base of the tables!.

I can honestly say that these are the very best Fish and Chips and mushy peas I’ve enjoyed for a long time. The batter was sublime. I’ve eaten at premises that won both regional and national awards and Valandys were easily on a par. Service was warm, friendly and courteous and couldn’t do enough for you.
